This Math binder will be a place where students can put information that will help them organize new knowledge, connect old knowledge, and be able to quickly find knowledge to help them in class. Also, this will be where students keep their consumable Math texts. This will protect the book and help it to last longer.

IXL is going to be used frequently in and out of the classroom. If your student has trouble logging on at home please let me know.
Xtra Math - this is a math fluency building site. all students will have log on information and a password. Parents can have access as well. Fluency is just as important in Math as it is in reading and will help student become more confident and comfortable in their Math Skills. Grading GuidelinesGrading is a large part of the classroom. Grading will happen on a point scale. Students will be graded on their mastery of knowledge and effort. All in class assignments and homework will be marked missing if not turned in on time. Students can turn it in for full credit at any time before the end of the 9 weeks. Regular student-teacher conferences will be held to inform the students of any missing work. Please be sure to have parent access to LiveGrades - Putnam county's new online gradebook for the most up-to-date grades and assignments your student has been given a grade for. If you're not sure how to do this you can contact Mr. Stepp, our counselor and he can assist you in that process.
